Our Wildway Crew highlights ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
Within each of us lies the potential to live life to the fullest. We have the ability to choose our own destiny, live without fear or limits, challenge ourselves and grow, do and be whatever makes us happy. We have the ability to be free. It's how you live a Wildway of life and there are people all around us inspiring others with their actions. We want to celebrate that by highlighting and honoring those who #LiveWild.

Here's Robin's story in her own words:
" I was pursuing a degree in Exercise Science and Neuroscience, playing collegiate soccer, and spending half my time in the Neuroscience lab looking through a microscope. I absolutely LOVED neuroscience, but I yearned for fresh air, salt water, and ocean peaks. After graduating from college, I started feeling an intrinsic desire to go beyond a traditional science and research heavy career. I set out to get my yoga teacher certification in Bali, travel through New Zealand with my dad, and ended up settling on Maui with my boyfriend for a bit. Despite falling in love with surfing and the ocean, we decided to move back to Bend, OR, where I fell even more deeply in love with backcountry skiing and mountain biking... until I broke my wrist. Without a wrist to support riding on 2 wheels or skis, I started running in the mountains, the distance of my runs growing longer and longer. In no time at all, I became hooked on uphill and human powered travel. Since then, I’ve been running longer, steeper attempts and starting to compete in ultra mountain races. While I’ve had success at racing ultras, my passion lies in being out in the backcountry and sharing the power of presence and mindfulness with those around me.
Today, I’m still working hard at combining the rawness of moving mindfully in the mountains with a lifelong dedication to pushing past barriers. My overall goal is to leave behind a legacy of mountain pursuits and mindfulness that empowers others to find peace in discomfort and the confidence to create their own parameters. Simply put, motivated by a desire to deeply connect to nature, I find peace in pursuing backcountry endurance missions usually through running, but also through mountain biking and skiing. As a mindfulness and yoga teacher, I aim to share the power of being present and aware with others to help them find purpose."
