We have the ability to choose our own destiny, live without fear or limits, challenge ourselves and grow, do and be whatever makes us happy. We have the ability to be free. It's how you live a Wildway of life and there are people all around us inspiring others with their actions. We want to celebrate that by highlighting and honoring those who #LiveWild.

Meet Travis. Otherwise known as "Coach Travis." Fitness coach and athletic trainer, Travis is obsessed with the human body and all that it can do. Being active his whole life, he is motivated to help others improve and strengthen their own mind and body. Read his story and be inspired to push your own body to new levels!
Here is Travis' story in his own words:
"My name is Travis and I’m obsessed with the human body and all that it is capable of. That is my Wildway of Life. Everyday, I get to explore my body’s abilities and teach others how to unlock their hidden potential inside.
I was an active kid growing up playing sports as early as 1st grade and continued through college. On the field I could fully express my truest self, I could run, jump, dive, yell without any hesitation or fear. As a youngster growing up in Texas, football was king, and for me, a way of life. It’s where I learned teamwork, discipline, and developed physical skills that gave me confidence and a sense of freedom I didn’t have in any other part of my life.
Later, in undergrad at Texas State University, I landed an internship at Velocity Sports Performance, where I saw the coaching staff instructing their athletes not as drill instructors barking orders, but as teachers running, dancing, and hooting and hollering all while teaching kids speed mechanics and weight lifting. I knew from day one that this was the way for me to teach others how to move their bodies so that they could play their chosen sport and feel the same freedom I felt on the football field.
Over time, I’ve learned that I could transcend this self-expression to any other movement with the right amount of awareness and intensity. I’ve realized that the freedom and self-expression that comes with movement is not limited to any one sport. It’s accessible to anyone and everyone through any sport or any form of movement!
My Wildway of Life is helping others discover that. As a strength coach, I’m always working with athletes to lead them in that journey to unlocking their body and finding out what they can do. I’m also always pushing my own limits and learning about my own abilities. I seek endless outdoor adventures like hiking, kayaking, mountain biking. This is where I can truly put my training to the test.
After nearly a decade of working full time as a strength coach with athletes of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, I have been able to teach people how movement can empower you in a way that extends into all aspects of life. This path has helped my confidence grow and my fear of new challenges lessen, which has led me to help dozens of professional athletes, from Olympic medalists to Major Leaguers, move better and maximize their athletic potential.
I’m inspired by watching those around me perform at their best and I am fueled by a curiosity of what our body is capable of. As I watch the people around learn about their body and reach success, I get more and more excited to see what comes next."
