What is Whole30?

The whole30 diet is one that promotes eating real, wholesome foods. This elimination diet requires cutting out potentially problematic foods that have been shown to contribute to inflammation, cravings, and other issues related to hormones, digestion and more.

Removing foods such as grains, dairy, legumes, and more can help you to understand the foods you're sensitive to, or those that cause your body to react in a negative way.

At the end of the 30 day period, you will begin to reintroduce specific foods back into your diet one at a time. As you reintroduce foods into your diet, it is important that you listen to your body to evaluate how a certain food effects your body.

The whole30 diet, in a way, is a sort of experiment. Removing and reintroducing foods into your diet to see what makes you feel good, and what doesn't. Despite being a form of dieting, the whole30 approach is rather a lifestyle change. Unlike traditional diets, whole30 doesn't require you to measure food, exercise vigorously, count calories, or anything else that could trigger unhealthy habits.

Figure out what foods work for your body and take the path to a better life!

4. No Fake Treats. No Loopholes
The whole30 diet isn't just about eating clean, it's about training your mind to think clean as well. The purpose isn't to work around the system to create healthy "cheat" meals. Whole30 works on both your diet and mind to retrain the way you think about food and the cravings that weigh you down.
.
5. Say Goodbye to Temptations
If it's not there, you can't indulge or munch on it. We aren't saying "out of sight, out of mind", because the cravings will linger even when the food is out of sight. This is an effort to beat cravings! Save yourself from the "I'll just have one" moment that inevitably leads to indulging in one too many.
.
6. Plan and Prepare
Don't leave yourself scrambling just before mealtime or as you're heading out the door to throw a meal together. The more prepared and intentional you are with your meal prep process, the more enjoyable the whole30 experience will be for you!
Find a handful of recipes you want to try, stock your fridge and pantry full of healthy staples, and prep roasted veggies and fresh fruits to make the cooking and snacking process easier.
